Membership
in the ARMTS requires that a massage therapist must:
• Possess a diploma or graduation certificate from a recognized massage
therapy school.
• Pass all
components of our competency exam, the Alberta Registered Massage Therapists
Society Exam.
(ARMTSE).
Jurisdictional
Recognition:
If you
come from another jurisdiction whose standards are recognized as equivalent
or greater to Alberta's. (AIT) Eg. As a member in good standing with the
College of Massage Therapists, in British Columbia, Newfoundland or Ontario
you may join the ARMTS without writting an exam.
